• 延長居留主要目的是讓各位同學找工作，因此在找到全職工作這段時間當中是沒有工作證的，絕對不可以違法打工！

The main purpose of extending your residence permit is to allow you time to find a job. However, during this period, you do not yet have a work permit, so working illegally is strictly prohibited!

• 勞動部規定，僑外生若是沒有工作許可證就自行打工， 被查到的話需要罰3萬至15萬元罰鍰，同時將會被管制3年不得再來台工作。

According to the Ministry of Labor, if an overseas Chinese or international student works without a work permit and is caught, they will be fined between NT$30,000 and NT$150,000. Additionally, they will be banned from working in Taiwan for three years.
