• 針對僑外學生畢業後申請留臺方式辦理：留臺工作（評點制）。

International and overseas Chinese students can apply to stay in Taiwan through the points-based work permit system.

• 僑外學生在畢業後，學校就會進行畢業通報，這時候開始，居留證（在有效期限後）將會失效。

After graduation, the school will report your graduation status, and your Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) will expire once its validity period ends.

• 僑外生就學期間持有的學生居留證，一旦畢業後就需向移民署申請換發為覓職居留證。覓職居留證自2024年已由半年延長為一年，一年後屆滿可再申請一次。如果依評點制申請工作，點數需滿70點。評點制相關文件提交雇主後，由雇主向勞動部申請聘僱許可，當取得工作許可後，需向移民署申請將原本的覓職居留證改為工作居留簽證。

覓職期間

• 畢業後請在居留效期屆滿前準備相關文件辦理外僑居留證延期並轉換居留事由。

• 申請居留延期經許可者，其外僑居留證之有效期間自畢業證書核發當月延期 12 個月；延期屆滿前，有必要者，得再申請延長一次，總延長居留期間最長為 2 年。於覓職期間嚴禁打工。

• 需要準備的文件有 The required documents are：

(1)本人親自到移民署辦理 Personal visit to the National Immigration Agency

(2) 申請書 Application form

(3) 護照（正本與影本）Passport (original and copy)

(4) 居留證（正本與影本）ARC (original and copy)

(5) 畢業證書（正本與影本）Graduation certificate (original and copy)

(6) 照片 Recent photo

(7) 說明書（需有：姓名、護照號碼、居留證號碼、國籍，並說明延期原因，再加以簽名）

Instruction Document (Must include: Name, Passport Number, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), Nationality, a statement explaining the reason for the extension, and a signature.)

(8) 住屋契約書（若有更換住址）

House rental contract (if you have changed your address)

(9) 費用NT$500~1000 元(僑生、港澳生、外籍生標準不同)

Fee: NT$500–NT$1000 (varies for overseas Chinese, Hong Kong & Macau students, and international students)

✱如果拿了畢業證書，15天內就回國（不再回臺灣），不用延期居留證！

If you leave Taiwan within 15 days after receiving your graduation certificate and do not plan to return, there is no need to extend your Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)!

✱如果要超過15天才回國者，建議先向移民署確認是否要先延期居留證。

If you plan to stay in Taiwan for more than 15 days after graduation, confirm with the National Immigration Agency whether an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) extension is required.
