1.具外國國籍且未曾具有中華民國國籍，於申請時並不具僑生資格者，得依 本簡章規定申請入學（不含港澳生）。 具外國國籍且符合下列規定，於申請時並已連續居留海外（不含大陸、香 港及澳門）6 年以上者，亦得依本簡章規定申請入學：

（1）申請時兼具中華民國國籍者，應自始未曾在臺設有戶籍。

（2）申請前曾兼具中華民國國籍者，應於申請時已放棄中華民國國籍滿 8 年以上。

（3）前二款均未曾以僑生身分在臺就學，且未於當學年度接受海外聯合 招生委員會分發者。 具外國國籍，兼具香港或澳門永久居留資格，且未曾在臺設有戶籍，申請 時於香港、澳門或海外連續居留滿 6 年以上者，得依本簡章規定申請入學： 曾為大陸地區人民具外國國籍且未曾在臺設有戶籍，申請時已連續居留滿 6 年以上上且每曆年在臺灣停留時間不超過 120 日者，得依本簡章規定申 請入學：

International students who are neither citizens of the Republic of China (R.O.C.), nor Overseas Chinese Students may apply for admission according to the regulations of this brochure. These regulations are not applicable for those who are citizens of Hong Kong or Macao. International students who had stayed abroad (Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao are excluded) for more than 6 years and never stayed in Taiwan over 120 days in a year meet the following conditions may also apply for admission according to the regulations of this brochure.

(1) Applicants with R.O.C. nationality at the time of application should never have a household registration in Taiwan.

(2) Applicants who had a R.O.C. nationality before should have renounced that nationality for more than 8 years at the time of application.

(3) Applicants in the preceding paragraphs (1) and (2) who have not been enrolled in Taiwan as Overseas Chinese Students and have not received admission offer through the “University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students” (http://www.overseas.ncnu.edu.tw/) this year.

An applicant with overseas nationality, concurrently holding a permanent residence status in Hong Kong or Macao, having no history of a household registration record in Taiwan and, at the time of application, has resided in Hong Kong, Macao, or another overseas country for no less than 6 years is qualified to apply for admission.

An applicant being a former citizen of Mainland China and holds an overseas nationality, having no history of household registration record in Taiwan, and has resided overseas continuously for no less than 6 years is qualified to apply for admission.

※有關連續居留海外期間計算方式，本校係依教育部「外國學生來臺就學 辦法」第二及第三條相關規定辦理 (該辦法請詳 http://law.moj.gov.tw/)。 The calculation method for the period of continuously staying at overseas is managed according to Article 2 and Article 3 of Ministry of Education (MOE) Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan (Please visit http://law.moj.gov.tw/ for more details of the regulations).

2.外國學生須符合教育部採認之高中、大學或獨立學院畢業者。外國學生具 高中畢業資格者，得申請入學本校四年制修讀學士學位；具學士學位者， 得申請入學本校碩士班；具碩士學位者，得申請入學本校博士班。

International students who have graduated from a high school, college or university recognized by the Ministry of Education R.O.C. (Taiwan), can apply for admission. (please refer to http://www.edu.tw/). International students with a high school diploma are eligible to apply for the four-year undergraduate programs; students with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the master’s programs; students with a master’s degree are eligible to apply for the doctoral programs.

3.符合教育部「入學大學同等學力認定標準」之同等學力資格者。

An applicant who meets the regulations stipulated in the Standards for Recognition of Equivalent Educational Level as Qualified for Entering University shall be considered to have an adequate level of education to apply for admission.

※畢業年級相當於臺灣高級中等學校二年級之國外或香港澳門地區同級 同類學校畢業生得申請本校學士班，惟入學後依本校學則規定應增加畢業 學分數 12 學分。

Applicants who completed high school at an overseas (including Hong Kong and Macau) school that is equivalent to a senior high school in Taiwan may apply for an undergraduate program at MCU. However, these students must complete 12 extra course credits.

4.與本校簽有雙聯學制協議之外國學校申請生得比照本簡章申請入學本校。

Students from the overseas universities with agreement of dual degree program with CTUST may apply according to this brochure.

5.已在臺就讀其他大專校院之外籍學生，得比照本簡章申請入學本校，惟須 另行檢附該大專校院之在學證明及歷年成績單。

International students currently enrolled in other universities in Taiwan may apply for admission according to this brochure with certificate of enrollment and transcript officially provided during application.
